LSU routs New Mexico as the Tigers keep on winning

The LSU Tigers kept the good times rolling Saturday as Brian Kelly’s men extended their two game win streak into three in a resounding victory against the New Mexico Lobos.

The Tigers accumulated a total of 414 passing yards against the Lobos, with Garrett Nussmeier coming in to the game to relieve a potential injured Jayden Daniels. Daniels exited the game in the fourth quarter after putting up 279 yards on the Lobos. Nussmeier was able to add 135 yards and touchdown to the Tigers totals.

Transfer running back Noah Cain brought a dominating performance, with 94 yards and 2 touchdowns on 11 carries. Sophomore wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. led the Tigers in receiving yards with 76 and 1 touchdown, a 57 yard pass from Nussmeier in the fourth.
