Are the Warriors back or will the Celtics keep the series alive? Preview of Game 6 of the NBA Finals

Parade preparations are starting in the Bay Area today as Golden State is one win away from winning their seventh championship, and fourth in the last decade.

After winning Game 5 at home in a commanding 104-94 victory, the Warriors are in prime position to reclaim the Larry O’Brien trophy for themselves. The Dubs got the win off the back of an extremely impressive performance from Andrew Wiggins, who finally seems to be fulfilling his potential. The former Jayhawk scored 28 along with 13 rebounds to be the leading scorer of the game.

However, Jayson Tatum and the Celtics won’t be keen to see blue and yellow confetti in Boston. Tatum has been solid during the finals averaging 23.2 points against the Warriors. Fellow stars Marcus Smart and Jaylen Brown have been playing inconsistently, averaging 16.4 and 21.4 respectively, with Smart only scoring 2 points in Game 2.

The biggest struggle for the Celtics so far has been their offense, as every loss has been within 20 points, but with the Celtics scoring less than 100 in all.

This is historically uncommon for the Celtics, who have the second highest average points scored in the NBA finals among all teams (thanks StatMuse).

The book makers are favoring Boston at home however, with an O/U of 210.

The game will be played at TD Garden tonight with tip off at 8:00 p.m. ABC will be televising it.
